The Storyline
No. 1 Humber men's volleyball (9-0, 1st West) looks to continue its nine-game winning streak Jan. 9 when No. 12 Conestoga Condors (7-2, 2nd West) visit the North Campus Gym. Game time is set for 6 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.  

Last Time Out
The Hawks left the OCAA season undefeated, after taking down the Redeemers Royals on December 6th. This success continued as the Hawks travelled to Amsterdam to compete in the 27th annual Dynamo Tournament, finishing first with a 9-1 record.

Previous Meeting
The Condors are one of two programs to take a set of the Hawks this season, falling to Humber in Kitchener on Nov. 23, 3-1. After dropping the opening set, the Hawks responded by winning the next three and were led by Rrezart Sadiku, who finished with a career-high 23 points in the win. Freshman sensation Joshua Fadare also recorded a career-high, finishing with 19 points on 15 kills and four stuffed blocks.

  • Conestoga ended its 2019 season with a 3-1 loss to Niagara.
  • Outside Judah Verbeek leads the Condors with 108 kills, ranking first in the OCAA for total attacks at 273.

  • The Hawks enter 2020 with 11.6 kills per set, and 16.2 points per set average.
  • Outside Rrezart Sadiku currently leads the Hawks with 62 kills and 10 service aces.
  • Third-year Jake Gomes remains only four aces away from cracking the top-five on Humber's career service aces list.
  • Humber has remained dominant throughout the season, dropping only two sets in the first half.
