SARNIA, Ont – Humber men's basketball (1-0, 2nd West) prepares for its second road test of the season Saturday evening at Lambton College (1-0, 2nd West). The Humber-Lambton series dates back to 1993, with Humber winning the first matchup 96-77.  In 2015, Lambton defeated the Hawks for the first time, coming away with an 83-74 win at home.

Last Time Out
Humber basketball began its 45th season in the OCAA last Sunday, cruising to a 108-60 win over the Conestoga Condors (0-2, 11th West). Kenny Ejim led the Hawks with 27 points, adding eight rebounds and four assists.

Humber reached the 100-point mark for the third time under second-year head coach Patrick Au.

Scouting Lambton
The Lions began the 2017 campaign with an 84-43 win over the newly formed UTM Eagles. Lambton was led offensively by 2015 OCAA scoring champion Brandan Padgett, who dropped a game-high 28 points on 11 of 14 (76 percent) shooting from the floor.

Last season, the Lions finished with a 3-13 record, a year removed from winning the 2015 OCAA bronze medal.

Scouting Humber
Humber dressed 12 players against Conestoga and all 12 players recorded at least four points in the game. Kenny Ejim began the season scoring a career-high 27 points, while C.J. Bennett recorded a career-high six assists.

Byron Trench, Fowzi Mohamoud, and Curwin Elvis each recorded double-digit points against Conestoga as well.

Last Year
The Hawks concluded its 2016-17 season with a 12-4 record, winning the programs 31st OCAA medal.  After a heartbreaking overtime loss to No. 1 Sheridan in the championship semi-final, the Hawks beat the Niagara Knights 82-79 to capture the OCAA bronze medal.

On the Road
All-time, Humber owns a 241-102 (.703) road record against OCAA competition during the regular season.

What's Next
Humber will end its road trip Sunday, Oct. 29 against the St. Clair - the Saints' 2017 home opener.  Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
