The Storyline
The Humber softball team (4-2, 2nd OCAA) will hit the half-way mark of its ten-game road trip Sunday with a doubleheader against the Seneca Sting (0-4, 7th OCAA). Game one is scheduled for 10 a.m.
Last Time out
The Hawks dropped their first two contests of the season on Wednesday, losing two one-run games against the defending provincial champions, Durham Lords (5-1, 1st OCAA).
Scouting Seneca
- The Sting have struggled out of the gates to start the 2018 campaign and over 23.1 innings pitched, their pitching staff has allowed a league-worst 41 runs against.
- Offensively, Seneca has struggled at the plate as well, combining for a team batting average of .151 over its first four games.
- Jasmin Namnama is Seneca's top-speed threat, stealing five bases to begin the year.
Previous Meeting
Humber left Seneca with a 15-2 five-inning victory last season, sweeping the season series. Elisa Gregoris and Terah Camilleri each recorded four RBI, while Myranda Pierson threw all five innings, picking up eight strikeouts in the win.
Since 2011, Humber owns a 21-1 record against Seneca.

After leading the province in home runs last season, the Hawks continue to swing big bats, leading the OCAA with 20 extra-base hits. In 24 at-bats this season, Aaliyah Davidson leads the conference with five extra-base hits.
