Bush, Gonsalves Earn Humber Student-Athletes of the Week Honours
ETOBICOKE – Second-year runner Kayleigh Bush and second-year infielder Jared Gonsalves have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Sept. 24-30.

Second-year runner Kayleigh Bush helped the Humber cross country team place on the podium for the first time this season. The Niagara Falls native led the team with an individual ninth-place finish – finishing in the top-10 for the first time in her career.

Second-year infielder Jared Gonsalves paced Humber’s offence in an 11-2 win over Seneca. The Hawks handed the Sting their first loss of the season, breaking the game open in the sixth inning. Gonsalves hit a two-run home run – the first of his career – and finished the night with a career-high three RBI.
