Cross Country Places Both Teams on Podium at Seneca
KING CITY – As the Humber cross country squad gears up for provincials at the end of October, the Hawks put together their best performance of the 2019 season. On Sept. 28, Humber competed in the Seneca Invitational, with both teams finishing on the podium.
The women's team, running in the six-kilometre race, picked up 47 points and finished in third place. Second-year runner Kayleigh Bush paced the way for the Hawks once again, finishing in ninth place. Megan Raso finished right behind in tenth as four runners for Humber finished in the top-20.

The men's team finished the eight-kilometre race in second place – its highest finish since Sept. 16, 2017. Addison Nixon paced the way for Humber once again, finishing in tenth place with a time of 29:59. Teammate Cole Czuchnicki finished seven seconds behind for an 11th place finish as all counting runners for Humber finished in the top-16.
