The Humber Hawks men's cross country team have been a team that is in the mix when the team awards are presented, finishing among the top two in the province for six consecutive years, but they fell just short of the podium with a team fourth-place result.

LONDON, ON: The Humber Hawks men's and women's cross country ran their first race of the season Saturday in London. In what was a steamy and sweltering day, the Hawks teams took team silver medals. Results: Women's team: Hawk ladies 2nd w a score of 50. Kaitlin Shevera place 4 w a time of 24:02. Men's team: Men placed 2nd score of 54. Shawn Acrey 28:13. Placing 5th.
