ETOBICOKE – No. 15 Humber women's volleyball continue on to a four-game winning streak, after defeating the Boréal Viperès (0-8, 10th West) in straight sets. The final scores were 25-2, 25-6, and 25-14.

Freshman Megan Hunt got the Hawks started in the opening sets against the Viperès, nailing down an impressive 19-point service run that included ten aces. Hayley Henderson and Karlee Mannella helped to keep the run going as they broke down the Viperès defence with multiple kills. Alex Bartmann helped certify the gigantic victory with a four-point service run and an ace, ending the set, 25-2.

Megan Hunt continued to make a mark on the court, earning the first point of the second and third sets with huge kills. Building off this momentum, service runs by Alexandria Dube and Lauren Schneider gave the Hawks early 6-1 leads. Boréal was unable to respond, as big hits by Hayley Henderson left no room for the Viperès to defend. Blocks by Karlee Mannella and Cassidy Andrews maintained the Hawks control over the court, as they flew into swift set victories of 25-6 and 25-14.

Outside hitter Megan Hunt earned Hawks Nation player of the game, as she earned a career-high 12 points including 10 aces and two kills.
