HAWKS TO FACE TOUGH ROAD BATTLE IN BATTLE OF 2018 OCAA FINALISTS

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks, coming off an emotional loss to the league leading Fanshawe Falcons on Saturday afternoon at home, will take to the road to Welland for a rematch of the 2018 OCAA title game with the Niagara Knights.

LAST TIME OUT VS NIAGARA

As mentioned above, these two teams met for OCAA Gold in February, with the Hawks winning in three straight sets 25-22, 25-7, 25-20. Although Humber won in three, the key to the match was Humber's ability to withstand a rally by Niagara in the first set, outlasting the Knights for the set victory. After a dominant performance in the second set, it was Humber that was able to close out the last set with a strong, late push. Former Hawks Breanna Golding and Nicole Collard led the way offensively for Humber, scoring 13 and 12 points, respectively.
