HAWKS RECORD 10TH STRAIGHT WIN IN SWEEP OF BRUINS

OAKVILLE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's volleyball team remained unbeaten on the season by way of a straight three set win (25-12, 25-19, 25-18) on the road over the Sheridan Bruins.

The Hawks were never in a position to lose any set on the afternoon, leading from the five point on throughout.

Humber was once again led by veteran outside hitter Devan O'Connor, as she continued to raise her overall average by scoring 15 offensive points on 13 kills, and 2 blocks. Her season average now sits at a 4.42 pps, just a sliver behind the league leader.

Freshman sensation Breanna Golding continued to impress, with 12 points (9 kills, 2 aces, 1 block). Fifth year star middle Alley Newman had 10 points (7 kills, 1 ace, 2 blocks). Of not for Newman was that she killed at a rate of .500 on the day.

Setter Gabie Miletic chipped in with 26 assists.

The Hawks will return to the floor this coming weekend, with games on Saturday evening (Boreal) and Sunday afternoon (Cambrian).
