The Storyline
The No. 7 Humber women's soccer team returns to the Ontario Soccer Centre Saturday to conclude its regular season series against Cambrian (2-2, 4th Central). Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m.

Last Time Out
Humber cruised to a 6-0 win at Conestoga, winning its 13th consecutive regular season match. Zoe Longworth opened the scoring for the Hawks, followed by Stephanie Gutierrez who recorded her first career goal for Humber.

All-Star keeper Vanessa Fiore recorded her third win of the season.

Scouting Cambrian

  • The Golden Shield have won two straight matches, escaping with 1-0 wins on the road at Conestoga and UTM.
  • Megan Coutu enters the match with 26 saves, the most in the OCAA Central division.
  • After scoring 43 goals last season, Cambrian has only found the back of the net twice in four matches.

Previous Meeting
In the 2018 season opener, Humber ran past Cambrian to a 5-0 win. Rebecca Spratt opened the scoring in the seventh minute, followed by Nicole Lyon's first OCAA tally in ninth.

Keeper Megan Coutu made five saves for Cambrian, as the Hawks outshot Cambrian, 27-0.

Humber opened the season as the ninth-ranked program in the country. After a 3-0 start to begin the '18 campaign, the Hawks have moved up to the seventh spot. No. 4 Sheridan is the only OCAA program currently ranked ahead of Humber.

Hot Foot
Zoe Longsworth and Megan Voutour lead the program with three goals each. Longsworth now has ten tallies in 20 career regular season matches, while Voutour has tied her career-high which she established last season.

Defence Wins Championships
The Hawks boast the top defence in the province, allowing less than one shot-per-match this season.

Brick Wall
In 270 minutes, Humber keeper Vanessa Fiore has yet to surrender a goal, recording three clean sheets to begin the season. Since 2016, Fiore is 18-0 in the regular season with 0.30 goals-against-average and 13 clean sheets.
