The Storyline
No. 9 Humber women's soccer (2-0, 2nd Central) returns to the pitch on Wednesday to take on Conestoga (0-2, 4th Central) at Budd Park Field. Match time is set for 6 p.m.
Last Time Out
At its 23rd OCAA home opener, Humber cruised to a 6-0 victory over the visiting UTM Eagles (0-2, 6th Central). Giulia Zanardi got the Hawks on the board in the second minute, scoring her second goal of the season. Over the next ten minutes, Humber found the back of the net three more times, with two tallies from Zoe Longsworth and another from Nicole Lyon.
In the 38th minute, Fatima Fuentes-Martinez – playing in her 21st regular season cap with Humber – scored her first career goal.
Scouting Conestoga
- Conestoga has struggled offensively to begin the season, failing to record a shot on net through its first two matches.
