HAWKS OPEN 2016 SEASON WITH 3 WIN, 1 LOSS DAY AT HOME
ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's rugby 7's squad opened up the inaugural season with a three win, one loss day at home at the Humber Valley Field.
In what is a very unique method of scheduling, teams will play 16 regular season games over four dates, each date hosted at a different competing school.
The opener took place under sunny skies on the Humber College campus on Saturday.
The Hawks started the day with a convincing win over Seneca, and followed that up with an even more dominating win over Sheridan. Humber suffered a very tight loss at the hands of the unbeaten Conestoga Condors, but then finished the day by knocking off Mohawk.
