HAWKS WOMEN ON TOP OF TEAM LEADERBOARD AFTER DAY ONE

SAULT STE. MARIE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's golf team lead after Day 1 at the 2017 OCAA Provincial Golf Championships.  The three day event is taking place at Crimson Ridge G.C. in Sault Ste. Marie. 

The Hawks lead the team competition with score of 160, 3 strokes better than the second place Georgian Grizzlies. In what is one of the lowest number of athletes participating at an OCAA Championship, there are only 2 teams and nine golfers overall.

Emilie Tyndale of Georgian leads the way with a 79, but three Hawks are close behind. Jordan Newlands and Sheila McKeen are tied for second with an 80, while Sonia Nagindas is close behind, with an 81.
