Women’s Basketball Takes on No. 9 Brock Over the Break

ETOBICOKE – The Humber women's basketball program will be heading to Niagara over the break to compete against the Brock Badgers in exhibition play.

Humber, the third-ranked program in the CCAA, will face the U SPORTS ninth-ranked team on Dec. 27 at the Bob Davis Gym.

Humber has begun the season undefeated, winning its first ten games by an average score of 25 points. Fourth-year forward Miea Campbell-Johnson is leading the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 14.3 ppg and 8.7 rpg.

After an 11-13 record last season, the Badgers are currently 9-1 and fresh off of a two-point road victory over the defending USPORTS champion, McMaster Marauders. The Badgers are led by senior Melissa Tatti, who is averaging 15.9 ppg this season.

Humber basketball returns to OCAA conference action Jan. 18 at Conestoga. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
