The Storyline
No. 12 Humber women's basketball (10-1, 2nd West) returns to the North Campus Gym Wednesday to host UTM (4-8, 8th West). The game will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network at 6 p.m. with Kyle Dalton and Adam Lucier on the call, and Danielle Dupuis reporting from the sidelines.
Last Time Out
The Hawks cruised to a two-game sweep on their southwest Ontario road swing, defeating St. Clair 84-66 on Jan. 12, and Lambton 87-50 on Jan. 13. Humber was led by its two dominating bigs: Miea Campbell-Johnson and Laura Meadows. MCJ finishing the weekend with 42 points and 23 rebounds, while Meadows finished with 38 points and 11 boards.
Scouting UTM
- After winning their first four games to open the season, the Eagles have dropped their last eight contests in a row.
- Jade Addai is second in the league in scoring, averaging 19.3 ppg. Humber held Addai to a season-low 11 points on four-of-11 (36.3 per cent) shooting from the floor in their only meeting this season.
- Jiana Alnajjar continues to be a beast on the boards, finishing with double-digit rebounds in nine contests this season.
- The last time UTM played at the North Campus Gym, Humber established a new OCAA record with its 68th consecutive regular and postseason conference victory, breaking the mark of 67 established by head coach John MacInnis and the Algonquin Thunder from Nov. 2011 – Jan. 2015.

Humber has begun to heat up from the floor, scoring 80-plus points in four consecutive games.
Home Sweet Home
The Hawks have won 45 consecutive regular season games at the North Campus Gym, dating back to the end of the '14 season. Humber is approaching its all-time record of 54 straight wins at home, a streak that ran from 1995 to 2003.
From Deep
Through 11 games, senior Leticia Lopez has hit a career-high 41 triples this season, the fourth-most in program history. Lopez needs 24 three-pointers to tie Ceejay Nofuente's program record of 65 from the 2016-17 season.
