The Storyline
No. 11 Humber women's basketball (5-1, 2nd West) will conclude its first-half road schedule Nov. 21 at UTM (4-3, 6th West). Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Hawks strung together their fifth consecutive win with a victory at Conestoga (3-4, 8th West) Nov. 14, 68-45. Leticia Lopez continued her torrid scoring pace, finishing with 27 points, including seven-for-16 (43.8 percent) from beyond the arc. Brittania Brown finished with a season-high 13 points, shooting five-of-ten (50.0 percent) from the floor.

Scouting UTM

  • After joining the OCAA last season and finishing with a 5-15 record, the Eagles opened the 2018 campaign with a four-game win streak.
  • Jade Addai is leading the association in scoring, averaging 21.3 PPG through seven games this season.

On Feb. 7, top-ranked Humber left UTM with a 98-31 victory. The Hawks held UTM to 13.7 percent (10-of-73) shooting from the floor. Jahnae Gyles finished with a team-high 14 points in the win, whiles Miea Campbell-Johnson added 12 points of her own.

With the win, head coach Ajay Sharma tied Humber Hall of Famer Jim Henderson as the all-time leader in program wins.

From Downtown
Through six games, Leticia Lopez has hit a league-best 26 triples, tying her career high. 67 percent of her buckets have come from 3-point range.

The Hawks are leading the league in rebounds, averaging 52.8 RBG. Eboni Beals and Miea Campbell-Johnson are pacing the way, averaging 9.8 and 8.2 RPG, respectively.
