The Storyline
The top-ranked Humber women's basketball program has a chance to make history once again Wednesday night when the UTM Eagles (2-5, 9th West) visit the North Campus Gym. The Hawks will be looking for their 68th consecutive OCAA regular and postseason win, setting a new conference record. The game will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network at 6 p.m. with Mohammad Khosroshahi, Mark Harrison, and Zach Bader-Shamai on the call and Dani Dupuis reporting from the sidelines.

Last Time Out
Hosting No. 15 Fanshawe (7-2, 3rd West) Sunday afternoon, Humber cruised to a 95-67 win at the North Campus Gym. Ceejay Nofuente finished with a season-high 29 points and added 11 assists to record her fourth double-double of the season. Aleena Domingo added 19 points as Humber improved to 4-0 this season against CCAA ranked opponents.

90's Babies
The Hawks have scored 90-plus points in eight consecutive games this season, their longest streak in the Ajay Sharma era. Humber's previous high was two (six different occasions).

Doubling Down
Humber has recorded eight double-doubles in nine games this season.

Scouting UTM
The UTM Eagles are competing in their first OCAA season, snagging a 77-54 road win at Lambton to begin the year. Since the Eagles are 1-5 and sit on the edge of a playoff spot in the competitive OCAA west division.

Offensively, UTM is led by Akashia Moore, who sits 17th in the conference, averaging 14.2 ppg.

Wednesday will be the first time the UTM Eagles play an OCAA league game at the North Campus Gym.

Humber's win on Sunday was its 67th consecutive conference win, tying Algonquin's OCAA record from Nov. 2011 – Jan. 2015.

Two-time CCAA Player of the Year Ceejay Nofuente became the first Humber women's basketball player to score 1,000 career points.

Since the beginning of the 2016 season, Humber has been the top-ranked program in the country.

Sitting at 936 points, Aleena Domingo needs 64 points to become the second player in program history to score 1,000 career points.

All-Time List
Nofuente now sits eighth on the OCAA all-time scoring list with 1,089 career points, seven points behind Erin Emery's (Durham 2007-12) mark of 1,067.

At the Helm
Ajay Sharma returns to the sidelines for his seventh season and is eight wins from tying Humber Hall of Famer Jim Henderson (1991 – 2000) as the all-time winningest head coach in program history.

Sharma has directed the Hawks to a period of unprecedented prosperity in the form of three consecutive CCAA tournament appearances – including the first national championship in program history – and three straight provincial titles.  Sharma owns a 125-22 (.850) career record.
