The Storyline
The No. 1 Humber women's basketball program (5-0, 1st West) continues its four-game homestand Saturday when Redeemer (1-2, 6th West) visits the North Campus Gym Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
Last Time Out
A game-high 14 points from Miea Campbell-Johnson helped the Hawks cruise to an easy 93-22 win over the Sault Cougars (0-4, 11th West). Ceejay Nofuente added 12 points with six rebounds, six steals, and six assists, while Aleena Domingo and Laura Meadows added ten points each.
Scouting Redeemer
The Royals entered the season without Jesseca Brown - the all-time OCAA scoring leader - for the first time in five years and is now led by Jessica Bosma, who is currently fifth in the league averaging 18.3 points per game.
Redeemer is coming off its second win of the season, after defeating Conestoga, 70-59, Wednesday evening. Shania Graham had a team-high 20 points, while Bosma finished with a 12-point 12-rebound double-double.
Last Meeting
History was made at their previous meeting, as All-Canadian Ceejay Nofuente shattered two OCAA records that night. The Toronto native scored 55 points and hit 13 3-pointers in the 92-62 win at the North Campus Gym.

Sitting at 63 straight wins, only Algonquin – 67 straight from Nov. 5, 2011, to Jan. 15, 2015 – has put together a longer win streak in OCAA history than Humber.
The Hawks have won three-straight OCAA titles from 2014-17, one away from joining Algonquin, who won four-straight from 2011-15.

Humber has won 32 consecutive games at the North Campus Gym. Its last loss came on Jan. 12, 2014 to Mohawk, 67-39.
At the Helm
Ajay Sharma returns to the sidelines for his seventh season and is 12 wins from tying Humber Hall of Famer Jim Henderson (1991 – 2000) as the all-time winningest head coach in program history.
Sharma has directed the Hawks to a period of unprecedented prosperity in the form of three consecutive CCAA tournament appearances – including the first national championship in program history – and three straight provincial titles. Sharma owns a 121-22 (.846) career record.
