WOMEN'S BASKETBALL RUNS BY LAMBTON, 103-26

SARNIA, Ont -- From the opening tip-off, Humber women's basketball was locked in, shooting a season-high 45.1 percent from the floor as it dominated Lambton, 103-26, Saturday afternoon at Northern Collegiate.

Ceejay Nofuente posted a season-high 22 points, to go along with nine rebounds, seven steals, and six assists.  Senior Aleena Domingo added 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting while adding nine rebounds and three steals.  Laura Meadows established her Humber career-high with 14 points along with nine rebounds. Jahnae Gyles rounded out the double-digit scorers for Humber (2-0, 1st West) as she netted a season-high 13 points, connecting on 3-of-9 from long range.

The Hawks registered its best offensive performance of the season, connecting on 45.1 percent (41-of-91) from the floor and 27.0 percent (10-of-37) from beyond the arc.  Humber's defence was equally imposing, holding Lambton (0-2, 10th West) to 20.4 percent shooting, marking the second-straight game the Hawks have held its opponents to under 21.0 percent shooting.

Humber jumped out to a 31-6 lead after the first ten minutes of play and went into the half up 50-19.
