The Storyline
No. 1 Humber men's volleyball prepares for their final match of the regular season as they welcome the St. Clair Saints (8-8, 6th West) on Feb. 16. Game time is set for 3 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.

Last Time Out
Humber volleyball returned home on Feb. 13 to host the Redeemer Royals. In this match, the Hawks hit a .517 hitting percentage collectively, led by leading scorer Rrezart Sadiku who earned eight kills, four blocks and an ace. The final scores were 25-15, 25-14, and 25-15.

Previous Meeting
The Hawks last competed against the Saints in Windsor, Nov 2019. Rrezart Sadiku led the team with 11 kills and a block, while Jaydon Milne followed right behind with eight kills. The final scores were 25-11, 25-12, and 25-16.

Scouting St. Clair

  • Although stuck in a two-game rut, the Saints will stop to play the Sheridan Bruins Feb. 15 before heading to Humber, who they last beat in straight sets.
  • Second-year Frankie Friesen leads both the Saints and the OCAA in kills at 218 and kills per set at 4.19.

Humber's 17-match win streak to start the season is a new program record while winning 12 straight without dropping a set. Under the guidance of head coach Wayne Wilkins, the Hawks have run the table twice (1999 & 2005), dropping a program-low three sets in 1999.
