HAWKS ENTERTAIN WINDSOR'S ST. CLAIR SAINTS FOR RARE SATURDAY EVENING MATCH

Etobicoke, ON: The Humber Hawks men's volleyball team is preparing to host the St. Clair Saints at home, on January 12th, in what will be their second OCAA match of 2019.

REGULAR SEASON HISTORY VS ST. CLAIR:

Humber holds a 19-5 win-loss record over the Saints. Out of this, the Hawks have only lost three games to them on home court.

 

LAST TIME OUT VS ST. CLAIR:

Both teams last saw each other during the beginning of November. In this match, the Hawks dominated over the Saints, winning in four sets. Lead scorers from this game were Outside Hitters Rafael Hilario and Kamyn Wilkins, with 14 and 13 kills respectively.

SCOUTING ST. CLAIR:

  • The Saints are entering the 2019 season with a recorded 282 kills.
  • Outside Hitter Mike Knight currently sits in 8th place in the OCAA for service aces this season
  • The Saints closed out the 2018 season was an impressive three-set sweep over Sheridan College

HAWK NOTES:

  • The Hawks opened their 2019 season with an impressive three-set sweep over Sheridan College.
  • Rookie Rafael Hilario currently ranks no. 3 in the OCAA for kills per set, averaging 3.58.
  • Setter Jake Gomes is ranked 4th in the OCAA for assists per set, averaging 8.82. Along with that, Jake also sits at no. 2 for aces per set, with an average of 0.94.
