ETOBICOKE, ON: The battle of undefeated teams will take place on Saturday afternoon at the Humber Athletic Centre, as the 7-0 Fanshawe Falcons and the the 6-0 Humber Hawks will battle to stay perfect and take control of first place in the West Division.

LAST TIME OUT VS FANSHAWE

The last time the Falcons played the Hawks was February 24th, during the OCAA finals of the 2017-18 season. In this match, the Hawks fought hard, but dropped the game 0-3. The lead scorer for Humber was Dylan Devecseri, with 10 kills. (12-25, 18-25, 13-25)

  • The Falcons earned silver at the CCAA Nationals last year, making it their best finish in program history.
  • The Hawks have a 15-16 win/loss all-time regular season record against the Falcons.

  • Zach Albert and Cole Jordan lead the Falcons with 72 and 47 kills, respectively
  • They are an experienced team, with a total of 16 players, 4 of which are rookies.

  • The Hawks are currently undefeated, only dropping two sets so far this season, and coming off a 3-0 sweep of Sheridan on Wednesday
  • Lead scorers from the Hawks are Kamyn Wilkins and Rafael Hilario with 58 and 35 kills respectively.

  • In the head to head statistical match-up, Humber holds a slim margin in kills, assists, aces and dis averages

  • Wayne Wilkins, the head coach for the men's volleyball team, continues to stay just seven wins behind brother Chris Wilkins, who is the head coach for the women's volleyball team. They are currently head to head for the title of Humber's "Winningest Coach".
