HAWKS LOSE THRILLER TO UNDEFEATED FANSHAWE

ETOBICOKE, ON: A sad night tonight when the Humber Hawks men's volleyball team's 14 game win streak comes to an end with a tough lost against the Fanshawe Falcons, who so far this season are undefended.

The game was a battle tonight with the Falcons leading the first set with a four-point lead. Once Rady Kim went up to serve that is when the Hawks landed a spot on the board. Battling it out back and forth with a few too many errors the Falcons took the win 25-16.

Coming onto the second set which was definitely one of the tough sets to watch. The game came to a tie at the end 25-25. From here on out the points just went up one by one. Kamyn Wilkins, Clayton Blanchette, and Dylan Devecseri all contributed to the number of kills to allow the Hawks to reclaim the ball. But with all efforts aside the Hawks struggled to keep the lead, ending with second set with Falcons victory and a score of 41-39.

The third set, now Humber down by two sets were unable to climb back from their previous losses. Still keeping the score close, the Hawks fell short of a win. With the finally score being 25-22.

Coming up next for the Humber Hawks Men's volleyball team is a cross-over playoff home game on Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 pm. At this time the opposing team is unknown.
