HAWKS OPEN DEFENCE OF 2016 TITLE WITH 3-1 ROAD WIN

MISSISSAUGA, ON: The Humber Hawks men's soccer team opened the 2017 season with a solid 3-1 win on the road in Mississauga over the UTM Eagles.

Bradley Fenton opened the scoring fifteen minutes into the first half. Scoring machine Luca Baldassarre tacked on one to extend the lead to 2-0. UTM brought the game close with a marker a little later, but Jaineil Hoilett answered within minutes to regain the two goal lead, a lead that would stand pat the rest of the way.

Humber will take to the pitch once again this Wednesday, as they travel to Kitchener for a battle with the Conestoga Condors. The kick-off is set for 7:00 pm at Riverside Park - Rogers Field.
