Humber Rugby Earns Playoff Spot With Win Over Conestoga

CAMBRIDGE – Humber men's rugby (3-3, 3rd West) picked up a crucial win Friday, defeating Conestoga (2-4, 4th West), 36-14.

The Hawks entered the final game of the season, needing a win to advance to the postseason for the first time since 2014.

After trailing early to begin the game, Humber scored 19 unanswered points to take the lead for good.

Scott Kisiel led the Hawks in scoring, scoring two tries for ten points, while Richard Sheffield added six points on three conversions. Juan Manago, Curtis Sandiford, Daniel Sheffield, and Shemar Sheffield all recorded a try in the win.
