NIAGARA COLLEGE INVITATIONAL RECAP

Niagara Falls, ON - The Humber Hawks men's B and women's golf teams played at Grand Niagara today. It was a struggle for the golfers today playing through high winds. In addition to tough pin placements, fast greens and a slow pace overall.

The men's team finished with a score of 316. Brock University won with a team score of 300. Individually, there was a two way tie between a golfer from Brock and Georgian for first with a score of 71. It was Kyle Corrigan once again with the best score for the men's team, shooting a 77.

On the women's side, veterans Nadia Marrast and Olivia Banton were put up to the task of competing for Humber as freshman Hayley McCallum withdrew before the tournament due to an injury. The vets put together a team score of 199.

As for OCAAs next week, Coach Shelby Madden hopes "the sun is shining, the birds are chirping and putts are dropping next week" in London, Ontario.
