HAWKS CONNER WATT ON FIRE AS HE LEADS TEAM TO TOURNAMENT WIN

ORILLIA, ON: Conner Watt wins the men's individual title with an insurmountable score as well as the Humber Hawks men's and women's golf team both taking home team titles on Wednesday at Hawk Ridge Golf Course in Orillia.

Conner Watt, who won the men's individual title on Saturday at the Fanshawe Invitational in London, records his personal best tournament score to win back to back titles with an incredible eight under par (66).

The men's team as a whole were out to prove a point after being bumped to second place via tiebreaker on Saturday. No other team came close to the men's combined score as they won comfortably with a whopping 15 stroke lead.

On the women's side, Hawks won the team title with a combined score of 167 (McCallum's 78 and Marrast's 89) defeating Fanshawe's score of 174. Freshman Hayley McCallum placed 2nd individually with a score of 78, losing to the winner by a single stroke.

 

Hawks return Thursday for the Georgian Invitational.
