Men's Golf Finish T-Fourth at the Canadian University/College Championship

CHILLIWACK, B.C. -- After the final round of the Canadian University/College Championship, the Humber men's golf team finished in a tie for fourth place with a score of 1,157, plus-five at Chilliwack Golf Club. The Hawks were the only OCAA program to make the cut and finished 14 strokes behind the Victoria Vikes for second place.

Humber's low-round of 281 on Day Three left the Hawks within striking distance for a top-two finish.

The University of Fraser Valley took the team crown with a score of 1,126 and also claimed the top individual spot, with Daniel Campbell shooting a four-round total of 277 (-11).

All-Canadian Conner Watt was the top finisher for the Hawks, tying for 14th overall with a combined score of 288 (E) on rounds of 73-70-72-73. Cameron Brennan – also an All-Canadian for Humber – finished T17th, shooting plus-one (289, 78-71-67-73).

Rounding out the scoring for Humber was Luke McLean, T37 (294, 74-78-71-71), Micheal Vance, 44 (296, 73-70-72-81), and Cameron Griffin, T53 (305, 84-74-71-76).

Tournament Highlights

  • Cameron Brennan's third round total of 67 was Humber's best round of the tournament.
  • Conner Watt shot a combined minus-nine on par-fives during the tournament, shooting minus-four on Day Two.
