The Hawks got off to a slow start in the second as an early 10-0 Mohawk run gave them the lead. Humber answered back with an 8-0 run of their own to close the half out, taking a four-point lead into the break.

It was all Humber in the third quarter, as they outscored the Mountaineers by 16 points in the frame to take a 20-point lead into the fourth.
