MEN’S BASKETBALL BACK ON HOME COURT TUESDAY FOR FRIENDLY VS U OF GUELPH

ETOBICOKE, ON: New Hawks head coach Samson Downey and his freshly selected 2018/19 squad, winners over a talented Hawks Alumni team on Saturday during homecoming, will face another pre-season test on Tuesday night as the University of Guelph.

The tip, from the Humber Athletic Centre, is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The Hawks will have a much different look than the teams of the past few years, with this look featuring a much speedier and athletic group, and one that will be a threat from the perimeter on every possession.

"I was pleased with I witnessed during the alumni game", said Downey. "With this being a new group of players, there will be a learning curve for them and myself, but every indication shows that they are willing to put the work in so we can get off to a fast start when the regular season kicks off."

As with all Humber home games, entrance is free to all spectators.
