HAWKS LOOK TO END SEASON ON A WINNING NOTE
LAVAL, QC: The Humber Hawks were so close to battling for yet another CCAA national crown, but were sidelined by a couple of pockets of ineffective play. With the two losses to date, Humber will play Lakeland (ACAC) in the 7th/8th placement game on Saturday afternoon at the Montmorency gymnasium. The tip is set for 2:00 pm (EST).
As mentioned above, Humber dropped both games of the event so far. The first was a nail-biter against Montmorency, and the second came yesterday afternoon versus SAIT. Lakeland lost to Douglas and then Jean-de-Brébeuf.
The two teams have never met in CCAA national play.
