The Storyline
No. 11 Humber will head to London Feb. 10 to conclude its regular season series with the Fanshawe Falcons (10-6, 6th West). Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.

Last Time Out
At UTM on Feb. 7, Humber extended its win streak to four games with a 115-72 win against the Eagles (2-5, 10th West). Kenny Ejim dropped a game-high 31 points, including 6-of-11 (54.5 percent) from deep. Ejim's sixth trey of the game was his 52nd of the season, breaking Doug Lawrie's program record established during the 1990-91 season.

C.J. Bennett added 24 points, along with seven assists and seven rebounds, while Jerome Gayle added 13 points of his own. DeQuon Cascart and Curwin Elvis finished with 11 points each, and Byron Trench rounded out Humber's double-digit scorers with ten.

Scouting Fanshawe

  • The Falcons currently own a four-game win streak and own a 6-1 record at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre.
  • Chris Parker leads Fanshawe in scoring, averaging 20.8 ppg, including 31 points in an upset win over No. 5 Redeemer Nov. 23.
  • Sean Clendinning sits third in the league in 3-pointers made, shooting an impressive 44.8 percent (43-of-96).

Previous Meeting
After a slow start against Fanshawe on Nov. 28, Humber needed 47 second-half points to come-from-behind and win, 72-68. Trailing by 18 at the half, the Hawks recorded the largest comeback in the Patrick Au era. Kenny Ejim finished with 22 points, his sixth 20-plus game of the season – while C.J. Bennett added 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Chris Parker finished with 26 points, while Sean Clendinning added 20 points in the loss.

London Losses
The Hawks have had a difficult time playing at Fanshawe, posting a 12-15 (.444) record in London all-time.  Despite the record, Humber has won four of its last five games at the GJAC.

Hot Potato
Against UTM, Humber finished with 35 total assists, the most in the Patrick Au era. It was the most assists in a game for Humber since finishing with 38 against Mohawk on Oct. 23, 2014.

Alone At The Top
Kenny Ejim broke Doug Lawrie's single season 3-point record Wednesday night. Lawrie's record of 51 3-pointers made stood for 26 seasons.

Protecting The Rim
The Hawks have registered 5.0 blocked shots per game this year, the second-best mark in the conference. Byron Trench and Kenny Ejim rank fourth and eighth in the league with 1.5 and 1.2 blocks per game, respectively.

Through 17 games Humber has recorded 85 blocked shots, the most in the Patrick Au era and the second most in program history.

Buckets of Buckets
Humber has scored 1,600-plus points in a season for the first time since dropping 2,219 points in 24 games during the 1990-91 season.

It's Up, and It's Good
Humber continues to be the most efficient deep threat in the league, hitting a conference-best 37.3 percent (159-of-426) from 3-point range.

In the win over UTM, the Hawks surpassed the program record for most 3-pointers in a season, established when the 2005 squad hit 153 in 15 games.

Efficiently Efficient
Fourth-year guard Curwin Elvis is leading the league in field goal percentage, shooting 61.4 percent (78-of-127) from the floor.

300-Point Club
In Humber's win over Niagara, Kenny Ejim joined Humber royalty, becoming the 12th player in program history to score 300-plus points in a season. The last player to accomplish the feat was Fitzroy Woolery in 2002.

C.J. Bennett needs 22 more points with three games remaining to become lucky number 13.
