ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks women's softball team completed their pre-season schedule on Sunday at their new home of Connorvale Park with an 8-2 win over the OCAA's Conestoga Condors, and a 12-2 loss at the hands of the OIWFA Western Mustangs.

The Hawks end the exhibition season with a mark of four wins and just the single loss from today's game with perennial powerhouse Western.

Humber was in total control in their Sunday opener against rival Conestoga, taking a big lead and rolled through the seven innings for the victory.

The Hawks struggled in the second game, as six errors contributed to nine of the Mustangs twelve runs. Humber mustered up a number of base runners in back-to back innings, but were unable to push a run across with bases loaded and only one out.  The next inning, they parlayed two Western errors into their two runs.
