The Match Up

St. Clair Saints at Humber Hawks
September 17th, 2017
1:00 pm & 3:00 pm
Brampton Fairgrounds, Brampton

Last time out vs St. Clair

In their last meeting, the Hawks came into play being undefeated at home but the Saints looked to spoil their spectacular home record. St. Clair jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after the top of the second, but the Hawks responded with four runs of their own with RBIs by Franchetto, Davidson, and Murphy to bring the game back to a 5-4 score. In the top of the third, the relentless Saints offense responded with a three-run homerun from second basemen Sarah Bondy to give the Saints a comfortable four run lead. The lead was all that Alexa Georgiou as she cruised the rest of the way to a Saints 9-4 victory over the Hawks. The loss would put the Hawks backs up against the wall, with the OCAA play-off picture becoming a tight race down to the final day of the season.
