HAWKS PREPARE TO TAKE ON MOHAWK TWICE ON SUNDAY

MISSISSAUGA, ON: The anticipation is growing as the Humber Hawks prepare to face the Mohawk Mountaineers. The game will take place tomorrow, Sunday, October 18th, at Wildwood Park.

This double header marks the Hawks last two games of the regular season. Humber is currently fourth in the standings holding on to the final play-off spot with a record of 11 wins and seven losses. The Mountaineers are sitting in 6th place with a record of six wins and 16 losses.

The last time these teams met was back in September for a double header at Mohawk. Humber was victorious, winning both games by scores of 13-3 and 4-3.  

Humber's top players will be out in full force. Humber's Myranda Pierson is the fifth best pitcher in the league with an ERA of 3.00. Mohawk's best, Aimee Leduc is sitting in 12th, with an ERA of 7.31.

Both teams are coming off recent wins against Conestoga. Mohawk beat the team 5-3 on Friday and Humber dominated them 12-2 on Saturday.

The first game in the double header is scheduled to begin at 1:00pm and the second at 3:00pm.
