THURSDAY'S GAMES WILL BE KEY TO PLAY-OFF MATCH-UPS

ETOBICOKE, ON: The excitement is growing for Humber's home game against the Durham Lords on Thursday evening. The Hawks currently lead the series after a mercy and extra inning win on the road in Oshawa, so the excitement lies in the expectation that Durham will come to Wildwood Park seeking revenge.

Humber has been put through the works on a five game losing streak but have been close to breaking the streak in their last three games against St. Clair and Fanshawe. Everything has now changed, as the Hawks are fresh off a doubleheader sweep of Seneca on Tuesday night, where they won by lopsided scores of 18-2 and 21-2.

The Lords also have a losing streak going after dropping a pair of close games on home turf to Conestoga. But the Lords also had a weekend full of ball after competing in the CCSA National Championships throughout Thanksgiving Weekend where they finished seventh best in the country.

The Lords and Hawks will most likely put on an Arm's Race with the number five and six best pitchers in the league. Durham thrower Caitlyn Omelanchuk has the fifth best ERA at 3.10 but Humber's Myranda Pierson is breathing down her neck with a 3.11 ERA in with two complete games and nearly 15 more innings pitched.
