The Storyline
Humber baseball (11-4, 1st OCAA) concludes its regular-season home schedule Friday against Seneca (9-6, 4th OCAA). Game one is set for 5 p.m. and will be streamed live on the Hawks Sports Network.

Last Time Out
The Hawks continued their sluggish play against Durham Oct. 9, falling to the Lords at home, 9-2. Stephen Narhabeki led the team at the top of the lineup finishing 3-for-4 but was unable to cross the plate. Braden Taylor went three innings on the mound and took his first loss in eight career starts.

Scouting Seneca

  • After starting the season 7-0, Seneca is 2-6 over its last eight games.
  • The Sting own a team ERA of 5.78 – sixth in the OCAA.
  • After leading the league over the first few weeks of the season, Cooper Lamb has dropped to fourth in the league with a .411 batting average.
  • Humber is 11-1 all-time against the Sting at Connorvale Park.

Bear Market
The Hawks are heading in the wrong direction as they approach the postseason. Humber's two-game losing streak is its longest since the beginning of the 2018 season.

Seniors Night
Friday night will be the final regular-season home game for five baseball players: Liam Sutherland, Steven Hough, Matt Stoddart, Hunter Bisser, and Jeff Siemms.

Race to the Top
Ty Martin and Stephen Narhabeki sit second and third, respectively, in the league in scoring.
