ETOBICOKE, ON: Matthew Ferreira, a key cog in the Humber men’s baseball team coaching staff since its inception in 2010, has been selected to move into the role as the head coach. With the change, former head man Denny Berni will shift his efforts and continue with the program he helped build, as a Special Advisor and Instructor to the club.

OSHAWA , Ont: Day two of the Canadian College Baseball National Invitational Championship, saw Humber take on Holland College on a chilly Friday afternoon. With a win, Humber would position themselves for a shot at the medal round. The Hawks would be victorious taking down the Hurricanes 11-6 in a time shortened game, in turn, Humber would miss out on the medal round due to the tiebreaker.

OSHAWA , Ont: On day one of the Canadian College Baseball National Invitational Championship, Humber was looking to get the ball rolling against Seneca College and St. Clair College. In game one, strong pitching and an offensive outburst sees Humber win 10-3. Game two saw a rematch of the gold medal game between the Hawks and the Saints. In what was a close game until the sixth inning when the wheels fell off for Humber as they would drop game two 8-3.

ETOBICOKE, ON: Fresh off earning the programs first silver medal in program history, Humber is off to Oshawa for the Canadian College Baseball National Invitational Championship. Last year, Humber would go 1-3 at the National Championship, falling to Durham, Fanshawe and Holland College. This year’s championships will occur October 26th - 28th, and games will be played at Kinsmen Stadium and Ritson Field in Oshawa.

TECUMSEH, Ont: Humber came into the day looking to begin their championship run by picking up two wins before moving on to Saturday. In game one, Humber took on a Durham team in which they split with in their regular season matchup. Humber would be victorious behind a strong pitching and timely hitting, winning 6-1. Game two saw the Hawks take on the reigning OCAA champions in St. Clair College, whom they won three out of their four games against this season. Humber would drop the night cap, 10-0

WINDSOR, Ont: The OCAA celebrated their top athletes and coaches at St. Clair College for the 2017 season at the OCAA banquet. This season was a record setting year for Humber (15-5 2nd OCAA), setting a new program mark for wins in a season. In all, Humber took home nine awards at the banquet as the Hawks continue to dominate the OCAA circuit on and off the field.

ETOBICOKE, ON: Looking to start off the OCAA Championship on the right foot, Humber (15-5 2nd OCAA) takes on Durham College (13-7 3rd OCAA) to open up the 2017 championship. This season Humber split their season set with Durham in four highly entertaining matchups. Both squads are coming into the matchup rolling on all cylinders, with the Hawks sporting a 9-1 record in their last 10 games, whereas the Lords are 8-2 in their last 10.

ETOBICOKE, ON: Looking to continue their hot play, Humber returns home for their last home date of the season against Durham College on Saturday. The Hawks (12-4 1st OCAA) come into after their doubleheader against Seneca sitting atop the OCAA standings. Humber takes on a Durham squad that is 10-6 (3rd OCAA) so far this season. First pitches are slated at 1:00 and 3:30pm on Saturday at Connervale Park.

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks completed their 2017 regular season in grand fashion as they walked off the Durham Lords 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh. With the win, the Hawks complete their best regular season in history, with a 15-5 record.
