HAWKS HEADING TO INAUGURAL COLLEGE BASEBALL NATIONALS

OSHAWA, ON: The Humber Hawks baseball program, fresh off their second consecutive OCAA bronze medal, will be headed to Oshawa this weekend to compete at the 2016 Canadian College Baseball National Championship from Oct. 27-29.

Durham College is hosting the six team tournament that will feature 13 games during the three-day event.  The six teams competing for the championship will be: Humber College (OCAA), St. Clair College (OCAA), Fanshawe Falcons (OCAA), Durham Lords (OCAA), Holland Hurricanes (ACAA), and John Abbott Islanders (RSEQ).

The tournament has been separated into two pools, with each team playing three round robin games.  The top two teams from each pool will continue on to play single-elimination games until the champion has been crowned.

Humber's schedule:
Thursday, October 27th vs.  John Abbott       4:00pm at Kinsmen Stadium
Friday, October 28th vs. Durham                12:00pm at Kinsmen Stadium
Friday, October 28th vs. Fanshawe              3:00pm at Kinsmen Stadium
