HAWKS TRAVEL TO LONDON FOR MAKE-UP GAMES VS FANSHAWE

LONDON, ON: The Humber Hawks, right in the middle of a "six game in four nights' scenario, head down Highway 401 to London on Tuesday for a make-up doubleheader with the Fanshawe Falcons. Legendary Labatt Park is the venue, and the game times are slated for 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

The two teams met just over a week ago at Humber's Connorvale Park, with the home town Hawks taking both ends of the double dip. The first one was settled by a walk-off grand slam from Andrew Thomson. The second was another come-from-behind affair, finishing by a score of 5-3.

The standings have become muddied one way, and much clearer the other direction. With St. Clair losing three of their last six, after compiling a run of 41 straight wins, the standings have a number of teams vying for top spot. On the other side of the coin, teams have separated themselves from Seneca and George Brown, and although the math has not dictated the final four teams, there would be a lot of work to do for Seneca to steal a spot.

Humber enters the game with a record of 8-6, while Fanshawe checks in at 7-5. Based on weather, both teams have a lot of games remaining, and this factor will certainly come into play.
