HAWKS LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION AGAINST SENECA

AURORA, ON: The Humber Hawks men's baseball (1-3, 4th OCAA) program will continue their road trip Wednesday evening as they head to Lambert Wilson Park to play the Seneca Sting (1-3, 5th OCAA).

The Hawks are looking to end their three-game losing streak after dropping two games over the weekend to the perennial powerhouse St. Clair Saints (4-0, 1st OCAA).

These two teams split the doubleheader earlier in the season, when Humber took game one 9-3 and then lost game two 2-1 after a very controversial call in the home half of the seventh inning.

TEAM RUNS AVG OBP SLG ERA
HUMBER 16 0.259 0.370 0.333 5.40
SENECA 5 0.155 0.219 0.175 8.33

The Sting enter this game well rested after rain over the weekend cancelled their doubleheader with the George Brown Huskies (0-2, 6th OCAA).

Outfielder Brandon Manley (Peterborough) is leading the way for the Hawks at the plate and is hitting .455 through four games.  On the bump, freshman pitcher Rory Pollard (Orangeville) has been very impressive to begin the season. After ten innings of work, the tall right hander has only allowed two earned runs and leads the team in wins.

First pitch for the game will be at 7:00pm.
