HAWKS COMPLETE SWEEP OF LAURIER WITH 12-3 VICTORY

ETOBICOKE, ON: The Humber Hawks men's baseball team continued pre-season tune-ups on Wednesday afternoon  at Connorvale Park, as they completed the day sweep of the Laurier Golden Hawks with a 12-3 win.

The game highlighted a number of players vying for playing time on both teams.

The tipping point was that the Hawks were very disciplined at the plate, and took advantage of every break that came their way. They showed their resiliency by not letting the fact that Laurier came back to tie them at 3 change their approach, as they piled on nine runs in the last two innings to put the game away.

With the win, the Hawks pre-season mark moves to an impressive 3-1. Humber will no travel to the U.S for a couple of tilts this weekend.
