KUMAR HEADS EAST IN SEARCH OF CCAA BADMINTON GOLD

DAY 2 (friday, March 9/19)  Rounds 4 & 5, and semifinals

 

ETOBICOKE, ON: Ramnish Kumar, winner of the 2019 OCAA men's singles crown, will travel to Dalhousie AC in Nova Scotia for the 2019 CCAA National Badminton Championships on March 6-9/19.

This is the first trip to the national event for Kumar. Not only will he play for CCAA National Gold, he will be presented with his 2019 CCAA All-Canadian award, which he earned by being selected as the OCAA men's Badminton Player of the Year.  

Although he dropped one match OCAA round-robin play, he responded with a 2-0 straight set win over that very same opponent in the OCAA finals.

Players will arrive on Tuesday, March 5th and take to the court for round-robin play on the 7th. Full schedule below;
