TANEJA AND TOURAY HEAD EAST IN SEARCH OF CCAA BADMINTON GOLD
DAY 1 UPDATE - 2 wins, 1 loss
DAY 2 (friday, March 9/19) Rounds 4 & 5, and semifinals
ETOBICOKE, ON: Arpit Taneja and Ayubu Touray, winners of the 2019 OCAA men's doubles crown, will travel to Dalhousie AC in Nova Scotia for the 2019 CCAA National Badminton Championships on March 6-9/19.
This is Arpits second trip to the national event, winning national silver in mixed. For Ayubu, this will be her first venture to this level.
The two dropped one match OCAA round-robin play. They then rolled in the semi-final, winning in two straight sets, and then rallied to take the third and deciding set in the gold medal match.
Players will arrive on Tuesday, March 5th and take to the court for round-robin play on the 7th. Full schedule below;
