HAWKS BADMINTON BACK ON COURT THIS WEEKEND IN LONDON

LONDON, ON: The Humber Hawks badminton team have experienced an unsuspected hiatus from tournament play, as the UTM Invitational was cancelled two weeks ago due to a lack of team registrations. They will get back on court this coming weekend in London, at the 2016 Fanshawe Falcons Invitational.

All five disciplines will be contended – men's & women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The Hawks will place multiple participants in each category, which is different than what is available at the OCAA provincial championships in February.

In the only college based invitational this Fall, it was Humber that dominated almost every discipline, winning gold in all but men's singles.

Play will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will be competed for at the Fanshawe College Athletic Centre.
