Ranked in the Summer 2016 (Issue 5) edition of SOAR magazine as the best all-time athlete to ever play for the Humber Hawks, Terrel Bramwell's dominant 2011-12 varsity season proves exactly why.

Terrel Bramwell had one of the most dominant seasons in CCAA men’s volleyball history during the 2011-12 campaign, setting multiple OCAA and CCAA records on the way to leading Humber to its very first national title. 

Bramwell (Mississauga, Ont.) averaged 6.7 points per set during the regular season, 1.6 points better than his closest rival, quickly winning the OCAA West region scoring championship. The West region first-team all-star also led the OCAA in kills per set averaging 5.67 while also contributing 26 aces and 25 blocks. The third-year right side set a new OCAA single match record with 36 kills against Redeemer on November 22 and tied his record for 40 points in a match, also against Redeemer on February 3. 

In Humber's toughest test of the season, he produced 48 kills and 52 total points in a 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-6) come-from-behind victory over Mohawk in the OCAA semi-finals. Bramwell was named a tournament all-star. 

During the CCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championship at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, B.C Terrell broke the all-time kills record for a three-round playoff (98) and for a final tournament game (43) to defeat Douglas College 3-1 and was named tournament MVP. 

By the end of the season, Bramwell had been named CCAA Men’s Volleyball Player of the year, OCAA Player of the year, a CCAA All-Canadian, and OCAA West first-team all-star.
