Ferreira, Allen Earn Humber Student-Athletes of the Week Honours

ETOBICOKE – Softball second-year infielder Alexis Ferreria and men’s soccer forward Leaford Allen have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Sept. 2-8.

Second-year infielder Alexis Ferreira helped Humber softball sweep its season-opening doubleheader against Mohawk on Sept. 8. The Mississauga native recorded five hits in the double-victory and stole six bases, as well.

A transfer from the University of Windsor, second-year forward Leaford Allen made his much-anticipated debut for the Hawks Sept. 6 against the Niagara Knights. On the road in Welland, the Brampton native did not disappoint and recorded five of Humber’s six goals – including four straight to begin the game.
