'PINK OUT' FUNDS BREAST CANCER FIGHT
ETOBICOKE, Ont -- October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease and this year - and over the last two years - the Student Athletic Association (SAA) has spread that awareness throughout Hawks Nation.
A message from SAA Coordinator, Eric Savage:
We are pleased to announce our success in the donations raised in support of Breast Cancer Awareness for October. After quickly selling out of our pink t-shirts and seeing them worn throughout Hawks Nation, we are proud to announce a grand total of $1,288 being donated to such an important cause. Due to the success of this campaign, Hawks Nation plans to build and grow in the level of awareness around this well-known disease. We would like to thank everyone for their donations and support!
