
Mitchell, Watt earn Humber Student-Athlete of the Week honours
It was a big week for Humber basketball, finishing 4-0 on the week. For their efforts, Kia Watt and Frank Mitchell have earned Humber Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honours for the week of Feb. 21-27.

Playing shorthanded for the week, Kia Watt helped the women's basketball program remain undefeated on the season. Watt averaged 27 points and seven assists on the week, as the Hawks improved to 6-0. The 2020 All-Rookie was red hot from the floor, finishing 22-for-40.
Watt has established herself as the most efficient scorer in the province and is the only player in the OCAA averaging over 16 PPG and scoring at 55 per cent clip.

Frank was absolutely dominant in Humber's two victories this week, as the Hawks picked up big wins over Sheridan and Redeemer. He averaged 21 points and 28 rebounds this week while shooting 65.4 per cent (17-for-26) from the floor. In the win against Redeemer, he finished with a career-high 28 points while grabbing a Humber record 31 rebounds.
Mitchell's 18.7 RPG is the top-mark in the province and on pace to be a Humber single-season record.
